About the Artist

Corrine Marie

I’m Corrine, an artist and surface pattern designer living in the northern countryside of Wisconsin. I’m inspired by the things I notice when I slow down: a garden in progress, a walk through the countryside, flowers growing where I didn’t plant them, an old textile with a story, or a beautiful illustration tucked inside a well-loved book.

I love foraging for inspiration, growing flowers, collecting vintage details, reading classic novels, and paying attention to the small things that make a place feel like home. These are the pieces that find their way into my work.

From Inspiration to Pattern

A wildflower, a weathered leaf, a vintage find, or a beautiful color combination can become the beginning of a pattern. I work through a mix of sketching, drawing, painting, collecting, tracing, and digital work, allowing the original marks and details to become something new. My work moves between painterly and drawn florals, botanicals, structured geometrics, and playful patterns for children. I’m especially drawn to earthy colors, old textures, garden-inspired details, and the feeling of something collected over time.

Beauty for Everyday Life

I want my patterns to feel at home in the things we use every day. A fabric, a piece of wallpaper, a notebook, a child’s product, or something beautiful in the home can add a little personality and story to ordinary life. That’s what I’m looking for when I create: the small details that make everyday things feel a little more beautiful, familiar, and worth keeping.

MADE TO CREATE

I believe we were created to notice beauty and make something from it. That belief is at the heart of every collection I design, turning inspiration from nature, history, and everyday life into artwork meant to be shared, used, and enjoyed.
